Siriphong Expresses Gratitude as “Half-Half Plus” Program Reaches Full Capacity

Bangkok: Siriphong Angkasakulkiat, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, expressed gratitude to the public following the overwhelming response to the "Half-Half Plus" program. Just 10 hours after its launch, the program exhausted its available slots, signaling strong public interest and participation. In response, the government is planning a new phase to further alleviate the financial burden on citizens.

According to Thai News Agency, the registration for the "Half-Half Plus" program commenced at 6:00 a.m. on October 20, 2025, and saw 20 million people sign up. This rapid registration far exceeded expectations, underscoring the program's popularity and its alignment with public needs. For those who missed out, there is potential for a new phase, contingent on budget availability, to extend the program's benefits and stimulate the national economy. The government aims to review the initial usage of funds by November 11th, redistributing any unused rights to new registrants.

Siripong emphasized the significance of the program in easing financial burdens and committed to extending its reach. The government is determined to expedite the process, aiming to assist as many people as possible.
