Si Maha Phot: A saleswoman live-streaming a used car sale was shocked when she opened the hood of her car and saw a python appear. She immediately called for rescue workers. This incident happened yesterday at a used car dealership in the Si Maha Phot area, Prachin Buri Province. While live streaming to introduce used cars to customers, the team opened the hood of the car to let the customer see the engine compartment. After opening the hood, the saleswoman and the team screamed loudly because they found a snake curled up in the engine area of the car.
According to Thai News Agency, the saleswoman then notified the Prachinburi Mangkorn Rescue volunteers to come and catch the snake. It took quite a bit of effort to pull it out until the python ran out of strength and allowed the rescuers to pull it out of the pickup truck. The rescue volunteers found that it was a large python, over 2 and a half meters long.
Thanakrit Saengnet, head of the Thammaratsamee Manirat Rescue (Prachin Dragon Rescue), reported that he received a report at around 1:00 p.m. that a snake had entered a car in a car tent near where he was. After going to inspect, it was found to be a python about 2 meters long and weighing about 10 kilograms stuck in the engine compartment under the hood. It took about an hour to catch the snake and release it back into nature. He advised residents of the Si Maha Phot District to avoid trying to catch snakes themselves to prevent injury, and to contact the rescue team for assistance.
