Bangkok: Senator Chokchai Kittithanesuan has stated that he has not seen any summons regarding the case implicating him in collusion with other Senators. He remains confident in his innocence despite being named as one of the six Senators involved in the alleged incident. According to Thai News Agency, Senator Chokchai addressed the matter in an interview, expressing his unawareness of any official summons and reaffirming his confidence in his innocence. On the day in question, he was engaged in personal business outside his home and was uncertain about when any summons might arrive, if at all. When questioned about why he was among the first group of Senators reportedly summoned in the collusion case, Mr. Chokchai admitted he did not know the reason. He further mentioned that he had not yet discussed the issue with Senate President Mongkol Surassajja or Pol. Lt. Col. Chatwarat Saengphet, another Senator. He stated he would need to review any documents to understand the charges better. Senator Chokchai exp ressed his belief in his innocence, emphasizing that he was not familiar with the case's details and would need to examine the information further. In a related development, Senator Pisut Rattanawong also addressed the media, stating that he had not received any summons as reported. He mentioned that a detailed review would be necessary to decide whether to comply with any summons. Mr. Pisut suggested the situation might be a politically motivated issue.
