Bangkok: A sedan collided with a motorcycle and dragged it for more than 500 meters near the Nikhom Phatthana intersection in Rayong Province. The incident was captured by a CCTV camera around 4:00 PM, revealing the alarming sequence of events on the road.
According to Thai News Agency, police officers from Nikhom Phatthana Police Station, along with Siam Rayong rescue volunteers, responded promptly to the scene at Soi 5, Road 13. They found Ms. Supattra, aged 41, who had suffered abrasions and a cracked skull. Rescue workers administered first aid before transporting her to Nikhom Phatthana Hospital. When questioned, the sedan driver claimed he thought he had hit a dog, which is why he did not stop immediately.
Mr. Atthachai, 26, the driver of the sedan and an employee at a transportation company, expressed his shock to reporters. He stated that he was unaware he had hit a motorcycle, believing instead that the motorcycle and rider had been thrown off the road.
