Secretary Sa-nguan Boonmee to Oversee Chiang Rai MP Elections

Chiang rai: "Saeng" prepares to visit the area to check on the orderliness of the Chiang Rai MP elections. Secretary Sa-nguan Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission (EC), is set to visit various polling stations to ensure smooth voting procedures for the Chiang Rai Members of Parliament (MPs) in Constituency 7 this Sunday.

According to Thai News Agency, the Election Commission of Chiang Rai Province has extended an invitation to eligible voters in Constituency 7, which encompasses Mae Chan District (limited to Chanchawa and Chanchawa Tai Subdistricts), Chiang Saen District, Doi Luang District, Chiang Khong District (restricted to Kheung, Sri Don Chai, Rim Khong, Wiang, Sathan, and Huai So Subdistricts), and Wiang Kaen District, to exercise their voting rights on Sunday, September 14th. The voting will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Voters are reminded to prepare the necessary evidence of voting rights, which includes a National ID card (expired national ID cards are also acceptable), any other government-issued card with a photo and a national ID number (provided it is not expired), and electronic image evidence accessible through a government agency's application, in compliance with the Electronic Transactions Act.

On Election Day, Secretary Sa-nguan Boonmee will personally inspect the opening of the Constituency 7 MP polling stations at Polling Station 12, located at Ban Sop Kha School Building in Wiang Subdistrict, Chiang Saen District, and at Polling Station 12 within the Chanchawa Subdistrict Municipality Office in Chanchawa Subdistrict, Mae Chan District. During his visit, he will also engage with the media to discuss the election's orderly conduct.
