Sattahip Residents Frustrated by Loud and Reckless ‘Trip Brother’ Motorcycle Gatherings

Sattahip: Sattahip residents complain about thousands of 'Trip Brothers' causing trouble, both loud noises and reckless driving. Police rush to crack down, warn drivers to drive safely, follow traffic laws, and not cause trouble.

In Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, there is a group of motorcycles who organized a 'Trip Hiea' group that gathered to visit the area, approximately 700-1,000 motorcycles, until the people of Sattahip District could not stand it anymore and came out to post about the suffering caused by the group of motorcycles from the loud competition on Road 3126, the entrance to Hat Nang Ram, Tambon Saensarn, Amphoe Sattahip, Chonburi Province, and the dangerous driving.

According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Col. Khomsan Khamtunkaew, Superintendent of Sattahip Police Station, ordered the checkpoint to be set up before revealing that the police had coordinated with the group leader that Sattahip District welcomes all tourists, but asks that they come peacefully and in accordance with traffic laws. However, if the vehicles are not in accordance with the law, they will be strictly enforced and arrested. Meanwhile, the checkpoint will focus on checking for loud exhaust pipes, modified vehicles, no documents, no driver's licenses, no license plates, and no helmets. At the same time, the Navy will be contacted to request cooperation and prohibit motorcycle groups from using the beach area to organize gatherings because it is causing inconvenience to the public. As for the group that joined the trip, the boss said that they had arranged to gather in a group to travel and were not afraid of being arrested by the police because they had not done anything illegal.
