Bangkok: Santi Promphat, Secretary-General of the Palang Pracharath Party, and Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, Deputy Leader of the same party, have made a notable appearance at a Bhumjaithai Party meeting, sparking speculation about their potential political moves. Alongside Akaradej Thongchaisod, President of the Phetchabun Provincial Administrative Organization, they attended the event to observe the meeting of Bhumjaithai Party MPs.
According to Thai News Agency, reporters sought clarity on whether Santi Promphat had discussed his political plans with General Prawit Wongsuwan. However, Santi chose not to comment, offering only a light-hearted remark to reporters, "There are a lot of guests today," which left his intentions unclear.
Further inquiries were made about General Prawit's stance on a possible alliance with the Bhumjaithai Party and the implications of facing the Kla Tham Party in government formation. Santi did not provide additional information, maintaining his silence on these matters.
Meanwhile, Chaiwat Thanakamanusorn briefly acknowledged the situation by stating, "We've already discussed it," before promptly leaving the scene. This statement has fueled further speculation regarding the discussions between the involved parties and their potential political strategies moving forward.
