Royal Thai Navy Confirms Deployment of Anti-Drone Technology to Neutralize Unidentified Drones

Chanthaburi: The Royal Thai Navy has confirmed the use of anti-drone technology to intercept and neutralize four unidentified drones that breached the airspace over the Chanthaburi border base earlier this week. The deployment of this technology underscores the Navy's commitment to maintaining security and control in sensitive border areas.

According to Thai News Agency, Rear Admiral Parat Rattanachaiphan, deputy spokesman of the Royal Thai Navy, provided details on the incident. Marines monitoring the area detected the drones of unknown origin within the jurisdiction of the Chanthaburi-Trat forces. The Navy responded by employing anti-drone measures to successfully disable the drones.

The presence of these unidentified drones over several days has prompted the Navy to reiterate its guidelines on drone usage in border regions. The Navy has emphasized the existence of strict measures to manage drone activities and has issued a warning that any drone entering restricted zones will be met with counter-drone actions.
