Bangkok: The Royal Thai Army has issued an order to tighten control over the border crossings between Thailand and Cambodia. The order authorizes the commanders of the Burapha and Suranaree Task Forces to manage the opening and closing of these crossings, following the National Security Council's resolution.
According to Thai News Agency, Army spokesman Maj. Gen. Winthai Suvari announced that the army chief, General Pana Klaewplodthuk, signed the order. This directive grants the task force commanders the authority to establish necessary measures and conditions suitable to the security situation at each crossing point.
