Bangkok: His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen graciously ordered senior officials to present a royal flower vase to the executives and employees of MCOT Public Company Limited for good fortune on the occasion of MCOT's 73rd anniversary with Thai society.
According to Thai News Agency, on the same occasion, several members of the royal family, including Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak, bestowed and invited the royal flower vase and gift flower vase to be presented to the executives and employees of MCOT. This gesture was meant to convey good luck and congratulations on the significant milestone. Mr. Phatiyuth Jaisawang, Acting Director-General, along with other directors and executives of MCOT Plc., were present to receive the honors.
Meanwhile, MCOT executives and employees participated in a merit-making activity by offering alms to nine monks from Wat Phra Ram 9 Kanchanaphisek. They also paid homage to the sacred objects of MCOT for continued prosperity and good fortune.
Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister's Office, extended her congratulations, highlighting MCOT's longstanding presence in Thai society. She expressed her belief that with MCOT's potential, the upcoming 74th year would be prosperous and contribute to societal development, democracy, and the well-being of its personnel.
In addition to the royal recognition, various important figures and partner agencies also participated in the celebrations by donating to the Uthokpat Foundation under Royal Patronage. This support aims to aid water management operations for sustainable community development, in line with royal initiatives. Organizations such as the Prime Minister's Office, Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, among others, presented flowers and souvenirs as a gesture of goodwill.
The public is invited to support the Uthokpat Foundation under Royal Patronage by donating to account number 013-0-22419-7 at Krung Thai Bank, Sri Ayutthaya Road Branch, to aid in water management operations for sustainable community development.
