Bangkok: Executives from Rainwood Group led the organizers of the Reignwood Icons of Football event, along with former renowned footballers, to meet with Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, affirming their commitment to collaborate with the government in advancing Thailand's Soft Power policy. This collaboration aims to organize world-class sports competitions to enhance the Thai economy and tourism sector.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Worapanit Ruayrungruang, Chief Executive Officer of Rainwood Group, accompanied Mr. Thomas Brookes, CEO and Founder of the ICONS Series, and distinguished former football players, including Mr. Joe Hart, Mr. John Terry, and Mr. Phil Jagielka, to a meeting with the Prime Minister. The event underscored their support for Thailand's tourism and sports initiatives through the upcoming Reignwood Icons of Football golf tournament scheduled for 1-2 March 2025, marking its debut in Asia and Thailand.
