Bangkok: PTT Group recently organized a ceremony at Prem Prachanarak Park in Lak Si District to offer blessings on the occasion of His Majesty the King's birthday on July 28, 2025. The event highlighted the group's commitment to honoring the King and reaffirming their dedication to the nation.
According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited, led the ceremony, joined by executives and employees of the PTT Group. Participants wore yellow shirts to signify their loyalty and to commemorate the King's contributions to the nation. The attendees pledged to be diligent employees and dedicated servants of the country, following the King's example for the benefit of the Thai people.
This was the first time the event was held at Prem Prachanarak Park, a site developed under a royal initiative to improve waterways, urban environments, and overall quality of life. The park is part of the Prem Prachan Canal project, which was developed by the Royal Household Bureau, government, and private sectors. PTT contributed to this initiative by designing and constructing a 10-rai public park, featuring an exhibition building named "Chonwithi Thiraphat" and a pier.
The exhibition building displays projects under the King's royal initiatives aimed at environmental and quality of life improvements, including 10 water resource development projects nationwide. Today, the park serves as a vital green space for the community, offering relaxation, recreation, and connectivity for local residents and visitors.
