Sa Kaeo: The Prime Minister led a group to Sa Kaeo to discuss the impact of the measures to open and close the Thai-Cambodian border checkpoint. Then, they will go to the Ban Khlong Luek border checkpoint, opposite Poipet.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, along with Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, led the group to Sa Kaeo Province. The first stop was Aranyaprathet School to chair a meeting to discuss the impact of the measures to open and close the Thai-Cambodian border checkpoint. They will listen to a briefing on the border situation in the area of the 1st Army Area, including trade and agricultural products, as well as the prevention and suppression of call center gangs and transnational crimes.
After the meeting, the Prime Minister and his entourage will travel to the Ban Klong Luek border checkpoint, opposite the city of Poipet in Cambodia, to monitor the situation at the border checkpoint, meet and talk with the people, business owners, and encourage officials.
