Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra addressed the issue before leaving Government House on his way to Nakhon Sawan Province. When reporters commented on his change of attire, the Prime Minister humorously acknowledged the observation, stating, "Yes, I am going to Nakhon Sawan."

According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister took the opportunity to clarify the misunderstanding about his clothing choice after some media outlets reported that he wore a fur suit to greet the cooler weather at Government House. Addressing these reports and public opinions, the Prime Minister confirmed that his attire was not made of fur but was instead embroidered with thread. He expressed his frustration with the rumors, exclaiming, "Oh, you're criticizing everything."
