Prime Minister Encourages Thai Youth to Embrace Change and Diversity

Bangkok: The Prime Minister gave a speech to the 9th generation of Thai youth with one heart, urging them to adapt to global changes and view differences as opportunities for national development.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, addressed the participants of the 9th generation of the Thai Youth with One Heart project, organized by the Court of Justice. This event included Muslim youths aged 3-15 from the three southern border provinces. The Prime Minister expressed her joy in meeting the students, some of whom she recognized from previous encounters. She highlighted the educational visits to the Supreme Court and the Parliament as inspirational opportunities for the youth to explore their interests and potential career paths.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of adaptability in a rapidly changing world, especially with the significant technological advancements over the past decade. She encouraged the youth to maintain a strong mindset, self-confidence, and self-awareness, despite challenges such as negative interactions on social media. She stressed that everyone has inherent value and should focus on personal growth and spreading happiness.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister remarked on the beauty of diversity, urging respect for differences within families and communities. She suggested that these differences could be harnessed for the country's development. She encouraged the youth to adjust their perspectives to appreciate diversity as a source of innovation and growth.

The Prime Minister concluded by expressing her hope that the youth would have a memorable experience and reiterated her commitment to addressing regional issues. She expressed gratitude for the warm welcome she received and promised to engage with local communities to resolve their challenges.
