Bangkok: Prasert Chantarawongthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, has expressed his belief that the Prime Minister has used reason in the recent cabinet reshuffle. Despite rumors suggesting that the cabinet list has been submitted for royal endorsement, Prasert stated he is unaware of any such submission, as it remains an internal process.
According to Thai News Agency, Prasert mentioned that he does not have knowledge of any potential transfers within ministries or changes involving other individuals. He emphasized his belief that the Prime Minister will make decisions based on appropriateness and affirmed his willingness to work in any position assigned to him.
Prasert also addressed concerns about possible internal discord within the Pheu Thai Party following the cabinet reshuffle. He expressed confidence that there would be no disruptions within the party, attributing this to the Prime Minister's reasoned approach in assigning various positions. Prasert reiterated that the cabinet reshuffle falls under the direct authority of the Prime Minister.
