Bangkok: Police are searching for the driver of a red sedan that hit the back of a motorcycle, resulting in the death of one individual and serious injury to another. A red sedan collided with a motorcycle, propelling the rider and passenger several meters away, causing one fatality and leaving another critically injured. The vehicle then fled towards a condominium in the Phetkasem area. Authorities are currently examining CCTV footage to identify the owner and ensure accountability.

According to Thai News Agency, CCTV footage captured the motorcycle traveling in the left lane when a red luxury car, also in the same lane, accelerated and struck the motorcycle. This impact sent the bodies of the rider and passenger flying several meters in the vicinity of Soi Petchkasem 19. The offending vehicle subsequently fled to a condo in the Phetkasem area.

Volunteer rescue workers from the Por Tek Tung Foundation, accompanied by a medical team, attended to the injured parties. Mr. Dulyawat, 27, was transported to Mitpracha Hospital, while Ms. Jittima, 30, was taken to Phyathai 3 Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Officers reviewing the CCTV footage discovered that the vehicle had fled and was parked at a condominium on Phetkasem Road, not far from the incident site. Although the car was located, the driver responsible for the collision has not been found.

Pol. Lt. Worapong Sriwino, Deputy Chief of Investigation at Phasi Charoen Police Station, engaged in negotiations with the condominium's management to have the vehicle transported to the Phasi Charoen Metropolitan Police Station.
