Bangkok: Police take the gunman who shot a 17-year-old girl after they had a glare at a barbecue restaurant to reenact the crime scene, claiming that he misunderstood the incident and thought it was a rival group. Police officers from Khok Kut Police Station in Pathum Thani Province took Mr. Spy, the suspect who shot and killed 17-year-old Nong Tangmo after a grudge at a barbecue restaurant on April 21, to reenact the crime scene. The suspect claimed that he and the deceased's group did not know each other, but it was a misunderstanding that they were rivals. The gun used was a blank gun belonging to a friend in the group. He wanted to apologize to the family of the deceased, insisted that he did not intend to, and accepted the punishment before being taken to Thanyaburi Provincial Court for detention.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nattawut or Mos, aged 29, who helped the suspects escape and hide in Kanchanaburi Province, the police have charged him with helping the perpetrators by providing a place to stay and hide, which carries a penalty of imprisonment not exceeding 2 years or a fine not exceeding 40,000 baht, or both.
