Pichai Leads Thai Delegation in Strategic Meeting with American Chamber of Commerce

Washington: "Pichai" leads Thailand team to meet with the American Chamber of Commerce, confirming that Thailand and America are long-term partners. Mr. Pichai Chunhavijorn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, revealed that the first mission of his visit to the United States is to meet with the US Chamber of Commerce, led by Mr. Charles Freeman, Senior Vice President, Asia, and high-level representatives from leading US companies that invest and do business in Thailand.

According to Thai News Agency, this meeting is an important opportunity to exchange information, opinions, and suggestions, especially on the trade and investment situation under the US tax policy. The discussions also focused on solutions to problems and obstacles facing the business sector, aiming to make Thailand a more attractive country for investment.

Mr. Pichai emphasized that Thailand is moving forward with full force in trade negotiations with the United States, aiming for a 'win-win' agreement for all parties. He expressed gratitude to the USCC for its continued support, both as a forum for exchanging ideas and as a voice reflecting to the US government about Thailand's importance in the global economic chain. He also assured private sector partners that the government will continue to pursue policies that promote trade and investment, while maintaining a transparent, friendly, and predictable atmosphere.

The shared goal of win-win economic cooperation was highlighted, with Mr. Pichai expressing confidence that with mutual understanding and trust, Thailand and the United States can drive economic relations toward sustainable growth.
