Phuket: Phuket Airport is preparing to make a statement regarding the bomb threat caused by Air India Flight AI 379, which took off from Phuket Airport and was headed to New Delhi Airport in India.
According to Thai News Agency, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Phuket Airport prepared to make a statement regarding the case of Air India flight AI 379, which had 156 passengers on board, taking off from Phuket Airport and heading to New Delhi Airport in India, but had to circle back and make an emergency landing.
Initially, Phuket Airport announced that at 09.30 a.m., it was notified by the air traffic control center that the pilot found a bomb threat message on the aircraft during the flight. Therefore, they coordinated to request an emergency landing. Phuket Airport used the airport's emergency response plan according to the specified procedures. As for the passengers on the flight, they were taken through the inspection process at gates 81-82. Meanwhile, the general passengers did not panic and the atmosphere at Phuket Airport was still normal.
