Pheu Thai Confident of Success in Provincial Administrative Organization Election

Bangkok: "Prasert" is 100% confident that Pheu Thai will sweep the "Provincial Administrative Organization President" field. Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, as a leader of the Pheu Thai Party, expressed his confidence in the party's prospects in the upcoming provincial administrative organization president election in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Pheu Thai has set up a war room to monitor the situation closely as the election approaches, with candidates aggressively campaigning to connect with voters before February 1.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Prasert highlighted that Pheu Thai candidates are fully prepared in their campaigning efforts and policy selection. He noted that the party's candidates in Nakhon Ratchasima have previously achieved favorable results, bolstering their prospects for success in this election. In the final week, the focus will be on intensifying fieldwork and effectively communicating policies to the public.

When questioned about the involvement of key Pheu Thai leaders in the campaign, Mr. Prasert mentioned that this depends on the candidates' plans and implementation strategies. He referenced the involvement of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra in Chiang Mai, where he has been actively campaigning, suggesting a similar level of involvement might occur elsewhere.

Regarding Prime Minister's potential participation in the final campaign efforts, Mr. Prasert stated that the decision rests with the candidates and their campaign assistants. The details of who might assist in the campaign remain undecided.

Addressing concerns about possible complaints during this period, Mr. Prasert acknowledged that the party has established a war room to manage the situation and monitor vote-counting results. The party has a structured approach to overseeing the election, and once the results are announced, a press conference will be held.

When asked about his level of confidence in the election outcome, Mr. Prasert reiterated his unwavering 100 percent confidence in Pheu Thai's success.
