Bangkok: Applications are now open for the position of Director of Government Savings Bank, replacing Mr. Witai Rattanakorn. Applications are being submitted from Oct. 14-27, 2025.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Thiralak Sangsanit, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of the Government Savings Bank's Director Selection Committee, revealed that the Government Savings Bank's Director Selection Committee has approved the announcement of recruitment for the position of Director. Interested applicants can submit applications along with supporting documents from Tuesday, October 14, to Monday, October 27, 2025.
For general qualifications, applicants must be Thai nationals, no older than 58 years of age on the date of application submission, able to work for the bank full-time, and not possess any prohibited characteristics as announced by the Government Savings Bank Director Selection Committee. For specific qualifications, they must possess excellent knowledge and abilities in economics, finance, marketing, and banking, have a vision for organizational management, possess high leadership qualities, and be knowledgeable and experienced in organizational management if they are or have been executives from government agencies, state enterprises, or any other government agency.
Must hold a position not lower than Deputy Chief Executive of the organization and have held that position for a total period of not less than 1 year as of the date of application submission. Or, in the case of being or having been an executive from a private sector agency, must hold a position not lower than Deputy Chief Executive of an organization with an annual income of not less than 15,000 million baht, or have managed a business with assets of the organization not less than 200,000 million baht. In this case, must hold the position for not less than Deputy Chief Executive of that organization continuously for a period of not less than 1 year as of the date of application submission.
