Northern Thailand Experiences Rising Temperatures Amidst Cold Weather Conditions

Bangkok: Meteorology reveals that temperatures in northern Thailand will rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department revealed that the temperature in the upper part of Thailand will rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius, while the "North-Northeast" will still have cool to cold weather.

According to Thai News Agency, the high-pressure area or cold air mass covering the upper part of Thailand is weakening. This will cause the upper part of Thailand to have a temperature increase of 1-2 degrees Celsius with fog in the morning. The northern and northeastern regions will still have cool to cold weather. The central region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, the eastern region, and the southern region will have cool weather in the morning. The mountaintops will have cold to very cold weather. People in the aforementioned areas should take care of their health due to the still cold weather and be careful of fire hazards due to the dry weather. They should also be extra careful when traveling through areas with fog.

For the northeast monsoon that covers the Gulf of Thailand and the South, it is weak, causing waves in the Gulf of Thailand to be approximately 1 meter high. Weather conditions affecting dust accumulation during this period: Dust/smog accumulation in the upper part of Thailand is moderate to quite high and tends to increase due to the weakening winds.
