Nida Poll Reveals Survey Results: ‘Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization President’ Scores Are Close

Bangkok: Nida Poll reveals opinion survey results, finds Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization president's scores are close to "Pichai" Pheu Thai - "Phan-at" people: The Nida Poll, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), revealed the results of a public survey on the topic of 'Who dares to predict the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization President?' The survey was conducted between January 29-30, 2025, from people aged 18 and over who are eligible to vote in Chiang Mai Province, distributed across all levels of education, occupations, and incomes, totaling 1,310 samples regarding the election of the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization President. The survey used probability sampling from the Nida Poll's Master Sample database, using a multi-stage sampling method, and collected data by telephone interviews, with a 97.0 percent confidence level.

According to Thai News Agency, when asked about the person they would support to become the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization President in this election, 45.57 percent of the sample indicated that it was Mr. Pichai Lertpongadisorn. (Pheu Thai Party) followed by 43.36 percent who said it was Mr. Phan-at Chairat (Prachachon Party), 6.34 percent who said it was Pol. Lt. Gen. Phanom Sripueat (independent candidate), and 4.73 percent who said they would vote no (Vote No).

When considering the general characteristics of the sample, it was found that all samples had registered residence in Chiang Mai Province. Of the sample, 47.10 percent were male and 52.90 percent were female.
