Bangkok: Nida Poll reveals the results of the 1st quarterly political popularity survey for 2025, finding that the number 1 position is support for "Paethongtarn" to become Prime Minister, proving her performance.
According to Thai News Agency, the survey asked the public who they would support to be the prime minister today. The results showed that 30.90 percent ranked first as Paethongtarn (Ung Ing) Shinawatra of the Pheu Thai Party due to admiration for the work and policies of the party and a desire to give her a chance to continue her administration. In second place, with 25.80 percent, was Nattaphong (Teng) Ruangpanyawut from the Prachachon Party. The public expressed a desire for a new generation to bring new ideas, honesty, transparency, and policies that truly reach the public. Third place, with 23.70 percent, represented respondents who have not yet found the right candidate. Fourth place, with 8.45 percent, was Pirapan Salirathavibhaga of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, noted for his knowledge, capability, honesty, fairness, and clear policies. Fifth place, with 3.90 percent, was Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan from the Thai Sang Thai Party, appreciated for her experience, administration, honest policies, and st rong ideology.
The survey also explored which political party the people would support today. It found that 37.10 percent favored the People's Party, while 28.05 percent supported the Pheu Thai Party. Additionally, 13.75 percent of respondents had not yet found a suitable political party. The Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party received 8.75 percent support, and the Democrat Party garnered 3.65 percent.
