Bangkok: NACC urgently investigates whether "Thaweewat", the owner of 12 million baht in cash left next to the condo elevator, has declared his assets or not. He admits to being the husband and sub-committee member of the NACC.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Saroj Phuengramphan, Secretary-General of the NACC and spokesman of the NACC office, revealed that from the news report that 12 million baht in cash was found abandoned at a condo in Muang Thong Thani area. Mr. Thaweewat claimed to be the owner of the money, and it was discovered that he is the husband of a NACC official at the director level. By law, he must declare his assets and liabilities. As a member of various subcommittees of the NACC, the NACC office would like to clarify that Mr. Thaweewat Saengkaew is indeed the husband of a NACC official at the director level. The 12 million baht in cash is currently under investigation to determine if it is part of the list of assets that must be submitted.
Additionally, regarding the appointment of a subcommittee of the NACC, the NACC will appoint based on the individual's knowledge, ability, expertise, and qualifications. If there are additional facts, the NACC office will clarify them in the next step.
