Bangkok: The Ministry of Finance is accelerating the process of eligibility verification for the "Half-Half Plus" initiative. Starting tomorrow, October 21, 2025, new applications can be submitted between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
According to Thai News Agency, Director-General of the Fiscal Policy Office, Mr. Winij Wisetsuvarnabhumi, announced that the program has accumulated 44 billion baht in registrations as of approximately 4:00 PM. Participants in the "Half-Half Plus" scheme may receive up to 2,400 baht each. Eligibility will be confirmed through collaboration with relevant agencies, focusing on individuals aged 16 or older as of the registration date who do not possess a state welfare card, based on the Ministry's database dated October 1, 2025.
Upon identifying any remaining budget or eligibility, the Ministry will reopen registrations for new applicants tomorrow. Citizens who have not yet registered are advised to verify their eligibility on the homepage of www.com and register via the "Paotang" app on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
For those checking eligibility for personal income tax returns, it is essential to submit Form Por.Ngor.Dor. 90, Por.Ngor.Dor. 91, or Por.Ngor.Dor. 95 for the 2024 tax year by June 30, 2025. Taxpayers can verify their filing date through local revenue office receipts or via the Revenue Department's website (https://efiling.rd.go.th/rd-cms/).
The number of merchants enrolling in the project has been steadily increasing. As of Monday, October 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM, a total of 223,088 stores have registered. Among these, 86,224 are original stores, and 136,864 are new entrants. Additionally, 87,976 stores are in the application process, with 82,450 waiting to accept project terms and 5,526 pending verification.
Merchants who qualify can continue to register, as the project will commence transactions with citizens on October 29, 2025. Registrations remain open until the Ministry of Finance concludes the application period on December 19, 2025.
