Nonthaburi: A lawyer, identified as Mr. Thaweewat, has presented documents to investigators, asserting his ownership of 12 million baht found in a discarded plastic box next to a trash can in the Muang Thong Thani condo area.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Thaweewat was invited by the Pakkret Police Station for further questioning regarding the large sum of cash discovered in a gray plastic box. To substantiate his claim, Mr. Thaweewat provided documentary evidence, including cash withdrawal records, to the investigators. Before entering the interrogation room, he briefly addressed reporters, stating that he would discuss the matter with the police and later provide an interview to the media.
Forensic officers have taken 53,000 baht from the total amount for fingerprint examination, with results expected within a week.
