Khon Kaen: The residents of Khon Kaen Province are celebrating the emergence of two new millionaires after the recent lottery draw on March 16, 2025. A papaya salad vendor in Ban Phai District and a resident from Kranuan District have both struck gold, winning the first prize in the lottery.

According to Thai News Agency, the first fortunate individual hails from Wiang Kaew, Village No. 2, Nong Kung Yai Subdistrict, Kranuan District. The resident secured two first prize tickets, totaling an impressive 12 million baht. He promptly traveled to Kranuan Police Station to file a daily record, a necessary step before claiming his prize.

In Ban Phai District, the second millionaire, known as Pa Daeng, operates as a som tam vendor on the side of Mittraphap Road. Originally from Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Pa Daeng won a single first prize ticket worth 6 million baht. She reported her win to Ban Phai Police Station, where Pol. Lt. Col. Prajen Sunan documented the report and shared a video clip with the lucky winner on social media.

Aunt Daeng shared her unique approach to selecting her winning ticket. She was drawn to a ticket with a number 757 prominently displayed on the Paotang application, which she purchased without any premonitions or dreams. Known for her regular acts of merit-making, she double-checked her winning number with her boyfriend and neighbor before confirming her success. The winning ticket, numbered 757563, led her to file a daily log to prepare for claiming her prize.
