Justice Minister Remains Silent on Khao Kradong Case as Corruption Allegations Loom

Bangkok: The Minister of Justice has not yet responded to whether Khao Kradong is a special case or not. The ongoing silence comes amidst tensions as the Prachachon Party threatens to challenge the minister's qualifications, citing findings by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) regarding corruption.

According to Thai News Agency, Police Major General Rutthaphon Naowarat, the Minister of Justice, has continued to evade questions from reporters concerning his stance on the Khao Kradong case. When pressed about potential discussions with the Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Police Major General Rutthaphon remained tight-lipped, offering no comment.

Meanwhile, Petty Officer 1st Class Yotsingh Liamlert, who serves as the Deputy Minister of Industry, addressed the situation in an interview. Despite the Prachachon Party's threats to scrutinize ministerial qualifications, Yotsingh expressed confidence, stating he is unperturbed and prepared to provide explanations. He reassured that he could clarify any issues related to the NACC's findings of corruption and misconduct.
