BANGKOK: The Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) is preparing to summon two influencers, Melai Ratchada and Num Meng Karn Yang, to provide testimony regarding a contentious video clip targeting fellow influencer Bank Lester. The summons is scheduled for January 6, as authorities continue to investigate the identities of others involved.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Gen. Trirong Phiwpaen, Commander of the TCSD, announced that the investigation into the "Bank Lester" case has led to the issuance of summonses for the two individuals identified in the video. The clips in question allegedly depict violent acts against Bank Lester and involve the consumption of lubricant gel. Efforts to verify and confirm the identities of all 12 individuals associated with the clip are ongoing. Authorities plan to issue additional summonses, targeting 2-4 people weekly for questioning.
The commander clarified that this investigation is distinct from another case involving an individual named Mr. Sarawut, also known as L Oros, who is accused of attacking Bird Wanwangwan in a separate video. This latter case has been transferred to Bang Khen Police Station for legal proceedings following Bird Wanwangwan's decision to press charges. The Cyber Police have already forwarded the complaint and interrogation to the relevant investigation officer at the station.
