Foreign Nationals Identified in Stunt Incident from Sukhumvit Building Now Confirmed as 2014 Trespass

BANGKOK: Authorities have confirmed that a viral video showing three foreigners parachuting from a high-rise building in the Sukhumvit area dates back to October 2014, classifying it as a trespassing violation. The incident, which recently resurfaced on social media, has prompted a response from local law enforcement.

According to Thai News Agency, Thonglor Police Station's Superintendent, Pol. Col. Phansa Amarapitak, disclosed findings from an investigation into a social media clip depicting the stunt. The clip, which circulated widely on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, showed the individuals skydiving from a shopping mall building. Further checks revealed posts on various accounts, including 'khaosodonline' on TikTok and Instagram users 'armankremer', 'mateomassoni', and 'blakesmith223', all posting about the event on different dates. These accounts were linked to the same incident that occurred on October 3, 2024.

Immigration records were reviewed to identify the individuals behind the Instagram accounts. Authorities determined that Mr. Arman Kremer and Mr. Mateo Leo Massoni, both American nationals, along with Mr. Blake Smith, entered and exited Thailand around the time of the incident in early October 2024. Despite their departure, the police have coordinated with the shopping mall's management to file a formal complaint for trespassing under Section 362.

The Thonglor Police Station has initiated an inquiry to determine further legal actions against those involved. Meanwhile, the department continues to work with the shopping mall to ensure such incidents are prevented in the future.
