Pattaya: An Indian national, identified as Mr. Sudip, reported to the Pattaya City Police that he was robbed of 25,000 baht by a woman he had invited to his room. The incident occurred late last night when Mr. Sudip, 45, went to the Pattaya City Police Station to file the complaint.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sudip explained that he had met a young woman on Pattaya Beach and agreed to bring her to his room in the Nongprue Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chon Buri Province. He stated that upon arrival at the room, he went to the bathroom. When he returned, he discovered that his belongings, including 5,000 Thai baht and 30,000 rupees (equivalent to approximately 20,000 Thai baht), were missing.
CCTV footage from the room provided evidence of the woman's entry and exit, which the Pattaya City Police are using to identify and locate the suspect. Investigators are actively pursuing the case to apprehend the perpetrator and proceed with legal action.
