Bangkok: Government House is set to welcome the new Prime Minister and Cabinet members for their official ID photo shoots ahead of the oath-taking ceremony.
According to Thai News Agency, Government House has organized a location for the cabinet's ID photo session in line with standard protocols. The surrounding trees have been trimmed, and the grass in front of the Thai Khu Fah Building has been cut in preparation for the new cabinet's group photo, which commenced yesterday.
Additionally, there has been activity at Building 1, which houses the offices of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministers of the Prime Minister's Office. An inspection team was dispatched to evaluate the offices today.
The Anutin government has nominated seven candidates for Deputy Prime Minister roles, including Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn for Transport, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphas for Finance, Mr. Thammanat Prompow for Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mr. Pattana Promphat for Public Health, Mr. Suchart Chomklin for Natural Resources and Environment, along with Deputy Prime Ministers Bowornsak Uwanno and Sophon Zaram.
The position of Minister to the Prime Minister's Office will be occupied by Ms. Supamas Isaraphakdi, Mr. Phradon Prisananantakul, Mr. Naphin Srisanpang, and Mr. Santi Piyatat.
It is notable that the number of Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers to the Prime Minister's Office has increased to 11, which is more than in previous administrations. This raises questions about the allocation of these offices.
