Bangkok: The Government Housing Bank (GHB) is commemorating its 72nd anniversary, highlighting its ongoing mission to facilitate sustainable homeownership for Thai people.
According to Thai News Agency, the celebration is themed "From Generation to Generation, GHB Makes Homes Sustainable for Thais," reflecting the bank's commitment over more than seven decades to providing access to housing loans and improving the quality of life for people across the country.
Mr. Kamolpop Virapala, President of GHB, emphasized the bank's dedication to supporting Thais with various financial products, including low-interest home loans, savings bonds, digital services, and projects aimed at social betterment. The event saw participation from numerous partner agencies from both the public and private sectors, who extended their congratulations to GHB.
A notable feature of the anniversary celebration was the launch of the "GHB X THETOYS" campaign, which integrates music with the concept of homeownership. The campaign features the song "Yindee Khang Tur (Always Together)" by the artist THE TOYS. The song represents the enduring relationship between GHB and its customers, reinforcing the bank's image as a supportive state-owned financial institution. The song is available on various online platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
Additionally, GHB introduced "TORRY," a finance influencer chatbot, designed to assist customers with housing-related inquiries through social media and the Line app, GHB Buddy. The anniversary event took place at the Wimanmek Room, located on the 3rd floor of Building 2 at the Government Housing Bank Headquarters, further cementing GHB's role in supporting sustainable home ownership for generations of Thais.
