Bangkok: The Government Housing Bank (GHB) has been awarded two prestigious "Phetphasut" awards for 2025 by the Thai Housing Management Association. Mrs. Patricia Mongkolwanich, Director-General of the Comptroller General's Department, officiated the award ceremony.
According to Thai News Agency, GHB was recognized for its significant contributions in the area of government procurement management. Mr. Chainarong Sawasdeewongsa, Assistant Managing Director of the Support Division, accepted the award on behalf of the bank. The organization was lauded for its adherence to laws and regulations related to government procurement and management.
Additionally, Ms. Jiraporn Chan-ap, Assistant Director of Procurement and Procurement, was honored with the Outstanding Procurement Worker "Phetchasat" award. This accolade highlights her expertise and integrity in procurement work, her efficiency, and her dedication to benefiting government agencies through effective and goal-oriented performance.
The recognition of GH Bank underscores its role as a state-owned financial institution committed to proper procurement and supplies management. This commitment is in line with the Government Procurement and Supplies Management Act B.E. 2560 (2017) and the Ministry of Finance's regulations. The bank emphasizes fair, transparent, and accountable management practices, aiming to ensure that citizens have access to housing under these standards. Furthermore, the bank is recognized for its support in corruption prevention and suppression.
