Amman: The Minister of Foreign Affairs has initiated coordination efforts with his Jordanian counterpart to ease the departure of Thai nationals from Israel.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Maris Sngiampong, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, disclosed ongoing efforts to assist Thai citizens amid the evolving situation between Israel and Iran. He has engaged in discussions with Mr. Ayman Al Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, to expedite the border crossing process for Thai nationals wishing to return to Thailand during this period.
Mr. Maris confirmed that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan assured his support in facilitating the process. Instructions have been given to the Thai Embassy in Amman to work closely with the Jordanian authorities to advance these efforts.
