Pattaya: A foreign man driving a luxury sedan crashed into the center divider and overturned, resulting in significant damage to the car. The man appeared to be in a state of panic, speaking incoherently, and exhibiting signs similar to intoxication.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident was captured on the front camera of the injured person's car. The accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. near Nongprue Municipality Kindergarten in Nongprue Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chonburi Province. The Sawangboriboon Radio Center in Pattaya received the report and coordinated with Nongprue Police Station officers to investigate the scene promptly.
Upon arrival, authorities found a black Mercedes-Benz sedan on its side with broken windows and apparent damage. The driver, a foreigner of unknown nationality, sustained minor injuries and was unable to communicate clearly. Witnesses reported that the sedan was traveling at high speed before losing control and crashing into the median strip, resulting in a loud noise that drew villagers to assist the injured driver.
Pol. Lt. Suphakit Kasudom, Deputy Chief of Investigation at Nongprue Police Station, initially took the foreigner to the police station to calm him down. Authorities plan to test his alcohol level and conduct further interrogation as part of the legal proceedings.
