Muang Yasothon: Five vehicles used for a traditional rocket festival were completely destroyed by fire in the middle of a rice field in Muang Yasothon District. Mr. Somchai Burana, Deputy Governor of Yasothon Province, along with the Office of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of Yasothon Province, responded to the incident with fire engines, but it took over an hour to bring the fire under control.
According to Thai News Agency, witness accounts suggest the fire originated from a pickup truck with a cage, positioned second from the left, before rapidly spreading to the first, third, fourth, and fifth vehicles in succession. The fire spread swiftly, fueled by rice stubble beneath the parking area, and within 10 minutes, all vehicles were ablaze. Although fire engines arrived 20 minutes after the fire began, the intensity of the blaze resulted in all five vehicles being completely consumed by the flames.
