Family of DJ Tete Demands Justice Following Tragic Death

Kalasin: The family of DJ Tete has returned to their hometown in Kalasin Province, carrying a picture frame of their beloved Warapong Khunsrichaturong, also known as DJ Tete, as they urge authorities to expedite the prosecution of those responsible for his death.

According to Thai News Agency, the 33-year-old DJ was abducted after leaving a pub in the early hours of May 14. His body was discovered on May 18 in a forest in Ban Tung Na Nang Ngork, Tambon Lat Ya, Amphoe Mueang, Kanchanaburi Province. He had been shot and his hands were tied. The police have apprehended one suspect, Mr. Thanadet Chueathong, while four other suspects remain at large: Mr. Nopphaphichit Duenchay, Mr. Tharathep Baibua, Mr. Phaknut Chaemnoi, and Mr. Narongdet Onlamun. A reward of 100,000 baht has been announced for information leading to their arrest.

The family conducted a cremation ceremony on May 22, but the atmosphere remains somber as they struggle to accept the loss. DJ Tete's father has expressed his desire for justice, stating over the phone that he will allow the police to handle the investigation but hopes for severe consequences for those involved.
