Pak Chong: Expedite the sending of a letter to the Land Department to clarify the issuance of title deeds in Sor Por Kor land within 30 days. Thanadol held a meeting to summarize the measures for land operations in the land reform area in Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province after inspecting the area last week. He revealed that the Secretary-General of the ALRO is preparing to send a letter to the Director-General of the Land Department to inform the details of the issuance of title deeds in the land reform area covering more than 46,000 rai, including the 'Rancho Charnvee' golf course of the 'Anutin' family. He emphasized that he would wait for an answer within 30 days. If he ignored the matter, the ALRO would immediately exercise its right to file a lawsuit with the Administrative Court to consider revoking the title deeds that were improperly issued under its authority. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Thanadol Suwannarit, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, chaired the me eting of the working group to drive the inspection and consideration of offenses regarding land recipients and landholders inappropriately in the land reform area, with Mr. Setthakiat Krajangwong, Secretary-General of the Agricultural Land Reform Office (ALRO), and representatives from related agencies attending the meeting. Mr. Thanadol stated that the working group convened to address the challenges and devise solutions following a field investigation into the issuance of title deeds and land ownership in Pak Chong District, which falls under the ALRO's land reform area. The area spans more than 46,000 rai. On February 18, crucial data was handed over to the ALRO Secretary-General. The ALRO Secretary-General is set to send an urgent letter to the Land Department on February 25, requesting details about the title deeds' issuance in the Pak Chong District land reform area, including the golf course 'Rancho Charnvee' linked to Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul's family, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interio r. The Land Department is expected to revert with the requested information within 30 days of receiving the letter, adhering to administrative regulations. Should the Land Department delay or disregard the request, the ALRO will proceed to file a lawsuit with the Administrative Court, aiming to annul the improperly issued title deeds as per the ALRO's mandate. Mr. Thanadol noted that there is existing data on various land title deeds, delineating their origin, such as NS 3 Kor. certificates issued by the Land Department, or N.K. 3 documents certifying land use in self-reliant settlements. Mr. Thanadol also stressed the importance of investigating land ownership across all land reform areas, not solely focusing on the Rancho Charnvee Golf Course of Mr. Anutin's family. It was discovered that the golf course land received an NS 3 Kor in 1976, and most title deeds were issued before the land reform area declaration in 1991. However, the 1976 Cabinet resolution canceled all NS 3 Kor issuances. Consequently, th e Land Department is required to verify the issuance timeline of NS 3 Kor to landowners in Pak Chong District, and when these were converted to title deeds. He further clarified that if title deeds were issued by the Land Department and subsequently sold, the new owners are not criminally liable. The focus of the investigation is on the correctness of the Land Department's title deed issuance process and its adherence to the 1976 Cabinet resolution. Should discrepancies be found, the Land Department must revoke all such title deeds. Mr. Thanadol affirmed that all procedures were conducted within legal boundaries. He responded to allegations of political manipulation of ALRO land, asserting that political figures should not meddle with state land, including land reform areas. The ALRO's mission is to reform state land for farmers' use, and any detected irregularities will result in reclamation to return the land to its rightful farming beneficiaries.
