EXIM Bank Collaborates with DITP to Boost Thai Exporters in ASEAN Online Market

Bangkok: EXIM Thailand has partnered with the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) to enhance the capabilities of exporters aiming to break into the ASEAN online market through the "The Road to Global E-Commerce 2025" project.

According to Thai News Agency, the initiative was launched by key figures including Ms. Sanisa Phalangtrakul, Assistant Managing Director of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM BANK), and Mr. Kritsada Singha, Senior Commercial Officer at the Office of Digital Commerce Market. Dr. Jessadaphan Thongsrinuch from the Office of International Trade Strategy, Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Kantapon Prommoon, Manager of Government Partnerships and Operations at Shopee (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Mr. Sirichet Jirapongwattana, Managing Director of Siam Consumer Products Co., Ltd., also played pivotal roles in the launch.

The project aims to empower Thai SMEs by providing them with opportunities to explore international trade through e-commerce channels, specifically on platforms like TOPTHAI and Shopee International. It seeks to leverage the benefits of the SMEs Pro-Active program by sharing valuable experiences and strategies from successful entrepreneurs. This collaboration is designed to equip Thai SMEs with the necessary knowledge and confidence to successfully engage in the online market.
