Bangkok: The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) is urging expressway users to shift from cash payments to the Easy Pass system, highlighting the ease and efficiency of this method. For a fee of just 300 baht, drivers can apply for Easy Pass and benefit from a more streamlined travel experience.
According to Thai News Agency, the Easy Pass system offers users numerous advantages such as bypassing queues at toll booths and eliminating the need for cash transactions, which in turn reduces physical contact and expedites travel time. The system also features convenient Auto Top Up options and rewards users with Easy Points upon signing up for the EXAT Reward program.
Interested drivers can apply for the Easy Pass at all expressway toll booths, excluding the Prachamrat Expressway. Additional application points include the Easy Pass Fast Service Automatic Card Customer Service Center at the PTT Bangna Gas Station (Outbound) rest stop and the One-Stop Service Center located on the first floor of the Expressway Administration Center Building.
EXAT emphasizes that the Easy Pass system not only modernizes travel but also ensures a safer journey by reducing the need to wait in expressway queues.
