Election Commission of Thailand Organizes Big Day Event for Kanchanaburi MP Election

Kanchanaburi: The Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) organized a Big Day event to vote for the MP election in Kanchanaburi District 4. The Election Commission (EC) held a "Big Day" event to create Thailand, inviting people to vote for the MP for Kanchanaburi's Constituency 4. The EC revealed that there have been no complaints about violations of election laws.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Saeng Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission of Thailand, and Mrs. Panwipa Piyamputra, Deputy Governor of Kanchanaburi Province, presided over the opening ceremony of the Big Day event, "Creating Thailand, Let's Vote Together for the Kanchanaburi Provincial MP, Constituency 4, to Fill the Vacant Position." Mr. Wira Yiprae, Deputy Secretary-General of the Election Commission of Thailand, Police Lieutenant Colonel Pongbandit Pinsuwan, Director of the Kanchanaburi Provincial Election Commission Office, Mr. Surasit Chan-Utha, the Lao Khwan District Chief, officials, and residents of Lao Khwan District attended the event.

This campaign walk will be held simultaneously in Huai Krachao, Bo Phloi, and Nong Prue districts. The walk aims to raise awareness and encourage citizens to exercise their right to vote and refrain from vote-buying. Election areas include Lao Khwan, Huai Krachao, Bo Phloi (excluding Nong Kum subdistrict), and Nong Prue, where the Constituency 4 MP election will take place this Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Mr. Sa-nguan stated that the campaign aims to encourage eligible voters in Constituency 4, Kanchanaburi Province, to come out and vote, demonstrating their power and participation in the country's governance. He also emphasized the importance of promoting proper voting and reducing invalid ballots. He believes the target turnout will be achieved, and the overall election proceeded smoothly. He also urged eligible voters to exercise their right to vote on the 19th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Mr. Sa-nguan also expressed gratitude to the candidates and political parties for adhering to legal frameworks during the competition. He noted that everything went smoothly according to reports from the provincial Election Commission office and the mobile unit, with no complaints reported. He emphasized the importance of this legal and competitive environment in fostering legitimacy in the election process.

In the District 4 election, there are 133,600 eligible voters, with 254 polling stations prepared by the provincial Election Commission office. Mr. Sa-nguan urged everyone to exercise their right to vote and demonstrate their power by choosing representatives to take care of their communities.
