Ekanit Confirms Readiness to Launch “Half Half Plus” Tomorrow

Bangkok: Ekniti confirmed that the "Half Half Plus" program will launch tomorrow (October 29). Over 400,000 new merchants have signed up. He also invited merchants to register for the "Half Half Plus" program, which is open from today until December 19.

According to Thai News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanpraphas stated that tomorrow will be the first day of spending under the "Half Half Plus" program. Nearly 600,000 merchants have registered for the program, a significant number. This includes 100,000 existing merchants, approximately 400,000 new merchants, and 100,000 merchants awaiting eligibility verification, reflecting high demand from the public.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the 20 million people who registered for the program. He also expressed his gratitude to the 190,000 people who were not eligible for the program, assuring them that they are already eligible for state welfare cards.

Merchants are invited to register for the "Kon La Khrueng Plus" program, open from today until December 19, 2025. Small businesses, massage parlors, spas, motorcycle taxis, taxis, and public transportation are eligible to apply.

Meanwhile, payments via food delivery will begin on November 3, 2025. Merchants can now connect with food delivery platforms to expand their market reach and increase sales. Currently, there are four food delivery service providers participating in the program, some offering reduced service fees or commissions, while others offering no fees at all, indicating a competitive market.
