Ekanat Promphan Visits Government House, Avoids Media Queries on Party Resolution

Bangkok: Ekkanat Promphan, the Minister of Industry and Secretary-General of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, made a discreet visit to Government House at 5:15 p.m., steering clear of the media and abstaining from commenting on the Palang Pracharath Party's resolution. He left the premises shortly after arriving, without providing any statements to the press.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Ekkanat's visit involved a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga. This meeting occurred while Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra and other ministers were away on official duties in Ubon Ratchathani. The brief encounter at Government House was marked by Mr. Ekkanat's decision to remain silent on the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party's stance on joining the government, a matter discussed at a recent party executive committee meeting.

Upon leaving the Command Building at 6:25 p.m., Mr. Ekkanat was approached by waiting journalists. However, he gestured to avoid questions and refrained from addressing inquiries about the party's resolution. It was noted that Mr. Pirapan, the leader of the RTA Party, had previously taken the resolution to discuss with Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra. During his departure, Mr. Ekkanat was observed talking on his phone and promptly entering his vehicle to leave the location.
