Bangkok: The EGAT board has resolved to nominate Mr. Narin Paowanit to assume the position of the 17th EGAT governor, preparing to submit the nomination to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy, and the Deputy Prime Minister who oversees the matter to present to the Cabinet for consideration and approval.
According to Thai News Agency, EGAT announced that the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT Board) in its 8/2568 meeting resolved to approve Mr. Narin Paowanich, currently Deputy Governor of Fuel, to assume the position of EGAT Governor. This decision was made by the Governor Selection Committee to succeed Mr. Thepparat Theppitak, whose term of office will expire on July 30, 2568.
EGAT will now present the nomination to the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy, and the Deputy Prime Minister responsible for the matter. The final step in the process is obtaining the Cabinet's consideration and approval.
