Dr. Mink Accepts Extension Request for Audio Clip Case Submission

Bangkok: Dr. Mink has accepted the request for an extension of time to submit a statement to the Constitutional Court concerning the audio clip involving the Prime Minister and Hun Sen. This decision was made as the statement is not yet ready for submission.

According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Prommin Lertsuridej, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, provided an update on the progress of submitting further clarification to the Constitutional Court regarding the audio clip. The clip features a conversation between Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, and Samdech Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate. A second extension for the submission timeframe has been requested, and Dr. Prommin confirmed that the process is on track.

The extension was requested because the clarification documents are incomplete, as stated by Dr. Prommin. When questioned about the presence of any additional legal issues or information, Dr. Prommin chose not to provide an answer and proceeded directly to Building 1.
