Bangkok: The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture has mandated an immediate inspection of all ministry buildings following a recent earthquake. This action includes convening an urgent meeting with department heads to establish guidelines for resuming work in the affected structures.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Prayoon Insakul, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, has instructed division directors under his office to participate in a building inspection scheduled for 10:00 a.m. today. Engineers from the Royal Irrigation Department will conduct these inspections to evaluate the safety of the buildings post-earthquake. The aim is to ensure structural integrity before allowing civil servants to return to their offices.
Later in the day, at 2:30 p.m., Mr. Prayoon is set to meet with ministry executives to communicate the procedures for safely returning to work on Monday.
