Bangkok: "Commander Teng" inspected the Thai-Cambodian border area near Ta Muen Thom Temple and Chong An Ma, stressing strict performance of duties and boosting morale among frontline personnel. Lt. Gen. Wirayut Raksin, Commander of the 2nd Army Region, and his team inspected the operations of troops along the Thai-Cambodian border, in the areas of Prasat Ta Muen Thom and Chong An Ma. They received a briefing from the local task force and personally inspected the border to assess the readiness of combat forces, patrol and surveillance systems, intelligence work, communications and command, as well as inspect the terrain and topography affecting the unit's operations.
According to Thai News Agency, the Second Army Region Commander delivered a speech to his troops, emphasizing adherence to the ideology of soldiers protecting the nation, performing their duties with courage, sacrifice, discipline, and maintaining combat readiness to the utmost of their capabilities. He also urged all units to remain strong in their operational areas, be vigilant, and strictly adhere to safety measures.
The Second Army Region Commander also inspected the residences of frontline personnel, inquired about their well-being, and provided morale-boosting items to boost the morale of border workers and bolster their commitment to secure border protection.
Lt. Gen. Wira Yut concluded by emphasizing, "The Second Army Area must maintain maximum combat readiness at all times. Border defense missions are an honor for soldiers defending Thailand. They must be carried out with decisiveness, knowledge, prudence, and unwavering loyalty to the nation, religion, and monarchy."
